Fastelavn, Dinners and learning how to make Wienerbrød. What a wonderful week for Ældste Holbrook!

I want to apologize before I even do this post. Ældste Holbrook sent over 200+ photos home this week so I have a LOT to post today. Enjoy them all ;o)

So this week he did visit Mormor and Morfar and as always there were good food and a wonderful spirit there. They spoil Ældste Holbrook and Ældste Peterson every time they come and of course they enjoy it!!

Ældste Holbrook is telling ÆldstePeterson about the little things he remembers from his childhood in Denmark. One of those things is this cute little play house in Morfar's yard.

Danish RED hotdogs, they are the BEST. How many did they each eat. I think I heard FIVE ;o)

Two HANDSOME young Elders. They are having a BLAST together.

AND YES Ældste Holbrook is still just a BIG KID :o)

Missionary HUMOR not funny at all for a Mommy!!!

P-day this week was a fun day in the Helsingør area. They saw many great things and took many fun pictures. Here are a few.

Ældste Holbrook and the Little mermaid. I do not think so but he looks like he is having fun!

Mini Kronborg Castle. There really something ROTTEN in Denmark :o)

Look at the date on this bridge. 1735 that really is old and beautiful.

Part of Kronborg Castle. So pretty and very majestic.

Fastelavn (Danish Halloween kind of) at the ward. So much fun and a great place to visit as a ward family.

Ældste Holbrook and Eilif Rosenkilde, a GREAT family Friend. So grateful that Ældste Holbrook have a chance to serve in this ward.

Here are the six Elders from the ward and then Helle (my DEAR friend) and Eilif her Hubby. What a great looking group!

Look at Ældste Holbrook hitting. I think he looks pretty good but he did not win!! But in my heart he will always be THE winner ;o).

A group of friends after the "party". They look like they had a great time together.

Ældste Holbrook helping make dinner after the party at the Rosenkilde's home. He is a great cook and he is learning so much more on the mission.

Ældste Holbrook and Eilif playing chess. Unfortunately Ældste Holbrook did not win here either but he will be back I know he will :o)

Ældste Holbrook learned to make Danish Wienerbrød at this sweet couples home with the other Elders. What a treat to be taught so many great things for the future.

Four good looking Elders learning together.

I told you Ældste Holbrook likes to cook. Here he is making Danish meatballs/Frikadeller ;o)

The result of the hard work Danish Wienerbrød. It is looking great and I am sure it tasted so GOOD. I am looking forward to sample some when Ældste Holbrook comes home in 17 months and he will make them for me.

Sitting down for a great meal that they helped make. Way to go "boys" :o).

What a sweet couple that used their day to teach these young Elders to cook something real Danish. That is a great treat and a big blessing.

As you can see after this LONG post. Ældste Holbrook had a great week and he learned so many fun and good things. I am so glad he is where he is at and learning ALL the great lessons he is. Way to go Ældste Holbrook keep up the GREAT work and know we miss and LOVE you so MUCH!!
