Zone conference in Odense

This is what Ældste Holbrook had to say about the zone conference in his last email:

This week we had Zone Conference. It was seven hours of listening to the mission president speak to us. I loved it! The theme of the entire conference was "Nothing is to hard for the Lord" he continued to ask do we believe that? Do you believe that? If so what are you going to do about that? Read Alma 26:5. Are you going to swing in your sickle with all your might because you know that nothing is too hard for the lord? One thing that I constantly pray for is to become like a valve to the Lord for his spirit to pour THROUGH ME (My emphasis added). Not that I can become a better missionary, not that I can know more about the gospel, not that I can change others. I do not want to have any part of myself get in the way of the conversion process. I constantly seek to be better in the Lord and to speak with power.

South Jylland Zone and training conference.

Ældste Holbrook, he can do it :o)

Training together. hopefully they are speaking Danish.

Sightseeing with Ældste Holbrook and Ældste Swan.

Okay, Ældste Holbrook have now been in Sønderborg for 5 weeks and he is REALLY loving it. The people are great and the work of the Lord is moving forward. He is LOVING the Danish food and the pounds are coming on a little faster than he had hoped :o) He did tell us that they have a car in this area and that later in his mission he will probably have to bike and he will loose weight then. Good luck with that it is so much easier to gain it than loose it :o)

 ST. Michael's Church.

He looks like he is having a pretty good time over there :o) This is a typical Danish cemetery.

GQ pose!!! Can he pull it off :o)?

 Is someone in there ?

Ældste Swan and a cute cat on the road!!

A little porcupine they are all over in Denmark and so sweet!

Look at ALL so interesting things on the house that was built in 1886 :o)

 Funny Danish pine tree.

Ældste Holbrook is learning how to draw better, here is a first sample!

We got some good letters from him this morning AND we got the FIRST snail mail letter 2 days ago. IT was AWESOME to see his handwriting and to feel his spirit! WE LOVE YOU SON :o)!!!

Week 4 in Sønderborg with Elder Swan

All is well for Ældste Holbrook in Sønderborg. He is really liking the people there and he is getting along very well with his companion Ældste Swan. They are teaching some great investigators about the gospel and enjoying a few good meals here and there :o)

Pizza in Denmark. You never know what they will put on it :o)

Look how green and lush it is over there. So different than Utah.

Ældste Holbrook and Ældste Swan. Greenie and trainer :o)

Cute little tree-house.  I bet he took this one because he always one one as a kid!!

Great to get a few new pictures and one with these missionaries together finally :o)

This video hit a little hard but it is BEAUTIFUL !!!

This video is AWEOME. I shed a few tears watching it and it was still a little raw for both Lincoln and I. Four Weeks is not long enough since our SWEET boy left to serve our Lord.

ENJOY it :o).

Here are a few more pictures from LAST week's P-day. I hope you enjoy them :o)

This looks like a baptism font from the Lutheran church. Pretty neat.

I am not sure who is strongest!! Maybe it is even :o) Fun to have this in the middle of the woods!

Not sure about this one but he is for sure looking great!!!
